Clean Eating: Rice Cakes, Red Pepper & Tzatziki

I am on week 9 on Focus T25 and loving it. It’s been awhile since I was seriously into a workout program but this one has me hooked.

I have been trying out some things from the nutrition guide to keep me from getting bored and have found a few favorites. Here is the recipe for my favorite snack. It’s super easy and tastes great!

T25 food guide snack. rice cakes, red peppers and tzatziki

 What you need to make my new favorite snack:

1/2 Cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt

2 Tbsp. Chopped Cucumber 

1 fresh mint leaf, chopped

2 multi-grain rice cakes

1 Med. Red Bell Pepper cut into strips

Cayenne Pepper or citrus juice to taste

- Combine yogurt, cucumber and mint in small bowl, mix well

- Serve sauce for rice cakes and dip for red bell pepper

**Nutritional Info (make 1 serving) Calories:150, Sat. Fat 0g, Sodium 90g, Carbs 23g, Fiber 2g, Sugar 7g, Protein 14g

    Sounds good!! I can’t touch anything dairy, but I always forget about rice cakes. I am trying to follow the SCD diet for my Crohns. I need to pull my T25 nutrition plan back out. I am just finishing week 1 of Beta!! LOVE it!!
